About the SCELC Cambridge Agreement
This open access agreement enables authors at 39 participating institutions across 32 SCELC licensees to publish articles using an open access license no cost across 412 journals. The APC (OA article processing charge) is fully covered for both hybrid journals and fully open access journals.

| Eligible Authors | Corresponding authors that indicate a participating institution as their primary affiliation when they submit the article for publishing. See the Cambridge Corresponding Author page for more detail. |
| Eligible article types | All original research articles qualify, including research articles, review articles, rapid communications, brief reports and case reports. Book reviews, discussions, editorials, introductions, letters, meeting reports and proceedings are not covered under transformative agreements. See the Cambridge article type definitions for more detail. |

OA Submission Workflow
- Choose the eligible Cambridge journal that best fits your work
- Follow the instructions on your journal’s homepage to submit your manuscript
- Upon acceptance, choose Open Access and select a Creative Commons license
- 'Request' funding of your APC transaction through Rightslink. All affiliated corresponding authors of eligible article types will have their APC fully covered. Your institution has pre-paid for OA publishing as part of this agreement so no further approval or library payment is necessary.
